The flexible ball joint is composed of a sphere, a sealing packing and a shell.
The flexible ball joint mainly absorbs the displacement of the pipeline through the deflection angle. It can be installed at any angle, and can absorb the settlement of the pipeline and the axial displacement of the pipeline through the pipeline arrangement. When the pipeline sinks, the length of the pipeline needs to be elongated, and this part of the elongation can be effectively released by arranging the flexible ball joint. In the case of direct burial, there are high requirements on the material of the flexible ball joint.
Advantage
①The flexible ball joint mainly relies on the angular displacement of the sphere to absorb or compensate the planting displacement in one or more directions of the pipeline. The compensator should be used in pairs. It has no compensation ability when used alone, but it can be used as a pipe universal joint. The compensator has a large compensation amount, no blind plate force, and small force on the fixed pipe frame. ② Maintenance is more convenient: During the operation of the product, in case of leakage, the filling type flexible sealing material can be added to the filling pipe in time to restore the performance of the product to the original.
Disadvantages: When the compensator is arranged, the pipeline needs to be dislocated, the space occupied is relatively large, and the price is relatively high.

Hot water pipe

Working condition: The compensator mainly absorbs the displacement of the pipeline settlement in the mining area and the thermal expansion and contraction of the pipeline. Since it is inconvenient for product maintenance to be buried in the ground, the operation of the flexible ball joint is more stable and safer. The length of the compensator arm determines the rotation angle of the flexible ball joint. The longer the lever arm, the greater the rotation angle.

Working condition: The pipeline will swing up and down and left and right due to its own load, water level and weather. The rotation angle of the flexible ball joint is determined by the length of the lever arm. The longer the lever arm, the greater the rotation angle of the flexible ball joint.

The compensator needs a long enough lever arm to complete the rotation, so there are requirements for the lever arm of the flexible ball joint, that is, the length of the pipe. 3. Working condition: The pipeline crosses the river for water supply, and the pontoon in the river serves as the support of the pipeline. The pontoon swings up and down with the water level, weather and wind. Changes in pipe angle are absorbed by flexible ball joints.
